VA E' GREJEN? is a rythmical game with the rules and structures that applies within the classroom.

In a Dogville atmosphere and in an absurd and tragicomic language it deals with the questions- How to become in relation to each other and in relation to the rules and expectations that are put upon us.

In the preparation work for this production there was an extensive interview work made together with sociologist David Redmalm with high school students in different cities in Sweden.

The interviews covered conversations about how norms are created and how we can rewrite and reconstruct them.

Labelling and diagnosis was a reoccurring subject, and many conversations circulated around wether we became the labels we get, when do they become something that brings freedom and when is it a hinder.

Va e´grejen? had an in official premiere 7th May 2020, but never met an open audience in it´s original shape, due to the covid pandemic.

The work was later on further developed and remade into the show

"Act as if" which premiered at Dieselverkstaden, Stockholm and toured to stages and schools with Scenkonst Sörmland in 2023.
